Artist description
The new album from Davromaxx, entitled
"Heavy Medal" showcases an aggressive sound that he
describes as “100 percent high-octane Hip Hop”, incorporating
touches of hard rock, jazz, and electro-funk. The title Heavy
Medal serves as a metaphor for how Davromaxx is approaching his
solo career. “Heavy means having great weight or importance.
And a medal is an award that you receive for being the champion.
I took that as my inspiration to be the best I can be at music.
Sometimes that's a heavy burden to bear. I just hope that doesn't
make the music too complex for people to understand and enjoy.
Because at the end of the day, it's still about making good music
that other people can listen to and feel and think about for a long
time.” |
