Artist description
Odie hails from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. They just released their first 6 song EP in May of 1999 entitled The Way Life Should Be. Odie'S sound ranges from guitar driven upbeat pop/rock songs, to piano epic's with everything inbetween. They narrow the gap from the silliness of Blink 182, to the seriousness artistic ability of Radiohead. |

Artist History
Known formerly as the band Chlorine, they changed their name to ULTRABLUE for legal reasons. With the entire lineup being complete by August of 1998, Ultrablue began recording music and playing shows in Ft. Lauderdale/Miami. In mid-November the band learned that they had won the national battle of the bands contest sponsored by Entertainment Weekly, Fender, and Hyundai. They won $5000 worth of Fender merchandise and an opening spot for a major rock concert to be held in the Miami area, which turned out to be ORGY. Shortly thereafter, Ultrablue teamed up with managers Rich Ulloa and Steve Goldman, who in the past have managed acts such as For Squirrels, Mary Karlzen, Subrosa, The Mavericks, and Amanda Green. Recently the ultrablue were killed by Odie. |
