Artist History
Stephen Speaks is mainly composed of two core members; TJ McCloud and Rockwell Ryan Ripperger. These two artists have been close friends since the 6th grade when they began to play guitar together. After nine years of playing, practicing, and writing together, the band 'Stephen Speaks' was formed tocreate their debut album, 'No More Doubt'. The album name has a double meaning, expressing theirdecision to pursue a full time music ministry, and also the end of their previous band, 'Doubting Thomas'.Ryan is currently living in Tulsa, OK, pursuing his career as a producer, while TJ is finishing up a semester at Abilene Christian University before joining Ryan in Tulsa to prepare for their Spring 2001tour. They are hoping to have as many of the other band members as possible join them on the tour, although due to college schedules some may not be able to tour quite yet. None the less, the acousticduo plan on touring this spring to colleges around the nation to spread their message, make new friends, and "just make good music". |
