Artist description
0RGAN1SED CHA0S is British 'musimatician' Phil Thompson. Using computers programmed with the mathematics of Chaos Theory, the Laws of Nature, and the rules of Music Theory, machines are left more or less to their own devices to create a bizarre and diverse range of music which is sometimes beautiful, sometimes haunting, lyrical, savage and disturbing. This isn't music written with computers, it is music written BY THEM - or perhaps it is more true to quote the BBC review, and say this is "Music Created by Mother Nature Herself!". |

Artist History
Phil released his first instrumental album '0RGAN1SED CHA0S' in October 1998 to much popular and critical acclaim. Features followed on BBC Radio, BBC Online, Discovery Online, MiningCo, FineArtForum, and others, and the album was acclaimed as 'Best Album of 1998' by Neil Leacy of Wind & Wire magazine. Performing together at an experimental gig in London in May 1999 (The X Foundation @ The SPITZ) led to plans for a collaboration album with Dark City's soundtrack and Sunship diva Anita Kelsey, however organised chaos is now amicably disbanded. |
