Artist description Ill Omen Nation represents a fusion of sound. Constantly evolving, and more importantly, playing music that is relavent to what is being conveyed rather than simply trying to fit in for the sake of it. Since ION incorporates nearly every style of metal as well as other genres, it can definitely be said that this is a project that isn't afraid to go against the grain and break down barriers. As with its predecessor, Sapientia, Ill Omen Nation chooses to simply be called Expressive Metal.

Artist History After a year of existing as a one-man band, ION has now recruited a new co-guitarist. Taking advantage of internet/computer technology, tracks are recorded and sent from one home studio to another to collaborate on ideas and make the final recordings. The result promises to turn some heads. Previously known as 207, Bloodtreaty Records immediately took interest after the first demo was heard in the autumn of 99.Ill Omen Nation will appear on various compilations in late 00 and a full length is expected by around Christmas. The name itself, that's a riddle you can play with a while.

Instruments Gibson SG, Aria Pro 2 Cardinal Series Custom Body with EMG 81s, BOSS GL-100 guitar driver, Crate GFX 212 combo, countless guitar effects, sampling apps & other secret weapons. Percussion consists of a Yamaha Birch Custom kit primarily. We also utilize samples from Tama & Ludwig, and a live Premier set.
