    Artist description
mow er (m r), n. 1. One who, or that which, destroys in great numbers as if cutting down, as in battle. 2. One who, or that which, overwhelms. Mower the action: n. 1. One who, or that which, destroys in great numbers as if cutting down, as in battle. Mower is an explosive force. Live performances are consuming attacks as each member’s world detonates onstage. Every show is a powerful display of mental and physical intensity. Mower pits at shows have become a test of strength not unlike the big waves of Mavericks and 25 foot vert ramps. Charging into a Mower pit is like being dragged into crashing surf - you will find yourself underneath it all and thrashed like a rag doll, but in the end you know you will emerge stronger. Mower the music: Mower music is driving, powered by rumbling grooves, crunchy riffs, and violent tirades that incite. Mike Owen fires round after round of punishing beats while Mark Bravo provides the distorted chunk and soaring guitar sounds that rip across Chris McCredie’s thundering bass. Dual vocalists Brian Sheerin and Dominic Moscatello are the unchecked vengeance of the group. Mower the movement: n. 2. One who, or that which, overwhelms. You will be hard pressed to find an area of San Diego not infiltrated by the ever-present black and white Mower logo. Stickers have been sighted all over the United States, in Mexico, South America, Indonesia, Asia, Europe and on and on… Mower flyers became so widespread in their hometown that several demands were issued by the zoning arm of the San Diego Police Department to “cease and desist”. Mower is highly visible, joining their audience at skate parks, concerts, in the surf, on the mountain and in the streets. Relentless promotion, television, radio, Internet and touring have burned their presence into the minds of hardcore music fans. When the room fills with black t-shirts, shaved heads and a Mohawk, Mower is in the house. Mower the show: Mower is one of the gnarliest live bands on the planet, period. It is impossible to observe Mower without feeling charged. Mower the motive: Contemplative during the creative process, and reckless during exhibition, these five individuals are extreme, adaptive, and driven to provide fans with instruments of release for frustrations and distemper. Mower motivates people to create their own good fortune. Mower the message: Clear the dead away and make a path for the new. The aim is positive: independent action and unrelenting pursuit of your goals, turning all that life spits into something valuable.
