Artist History
Focused on being a light to both believers and non-believers is the driving purpose of this North Texas trio. By performing songs of praise and encouragement Golden Censer strives to glorify Christ while delivering exciting entertainment.
Formed as a praise and worship band at Dallas’ Metropolitan Christian Church in 1998, Golden Censer started out leading evening youth praise sessions on Sundays and Wednesdays. As they began to grow as a unit they branched out to providing music for Sunday morning church worship services on occasion. Over time the band began writing and incorporating their compositions into performances. Response from these services and original songs led the guys to put a name to the group as well as seek out other avenues to share their message.
Golden Censer has played to a variety of audiences since coming together four years ago. They have performed for local area churches, private gatherings, music festivals and concerts to include opening slots for national acts Forty Days and Vine. Audiences include a variety of generations that enjoy groups like Seven Day Jesus, Audio Adrenalin, Geoff Moore and The Distance and Dakota Motor Co..
Having recorded three studio projects and a
praise and worship project, the group has a
variety of material to pull from for live
performances. Their songs address everyday
issues that believers face and deal with. It
is their primary mission to help others with
their walk through musical testimonies. |

Press Reviews
There is a lot of good press in Dallas. There are 5 stations that have local news programs and a lot of radio staions. The only downside is that there is only one daily newspaper, and thats kind of sad. I miss the Dallas Times Herald. - David Dalton |
