Artist History Denise Tichenor's music career started back in 1988 when she was signed to Tyscot Records where she released two albums and was nominated for a Stellar award and two Gospel Excellence awards, one of which she won. She has appeared in concert with some of the worlds greatest gospel artist, such as Rev. John P. Kee and the New Life Community Choir, Ricky Dillard, Milton Brunson, Lawrence Matthews, William Beckton and Friends, Mississippi Mass Choir, and the Barrett Sisters. She had a leading role in the popular gospel production musical "Moma Don't" where she worked side by side with various gospel artist and actors/actresses, such as the Clark Sisters, Richard Smallwood, Lynette Hawkins, Rance Allen, Akosua Busia(Played Netty in "The Color Purple"), and Earnest Harding from "The Jefferson's". Denise has also made television appearence's on "The Bobby Jones Show" and Vicki Winans's television show "Singsation".
