Artist description
Middleism coming from Tulsa. Reality music, coming from the middle of the map. Two solo albums of across the table entertainment. AT THA BANK is a refreshing change from most Rap albums. It has it's own unique style called 'middlism'. This style was developed by D-Rob himself. He feels that Gangsta rap is slowly declining so the time is right for a new type of rap music. On the album D-Rob hits you with addictive grooves such as "36-24-36" and "Journey thru the Middle" then moves you with his subtle smoothness in cuts like "I can't cope", "Reasons", and "Sacrifice". This album has depth with a sound everyone will like. |

Artist History
Robert C. Daniels has been in the record industry for 11 years. He recorded his first rap record at the age of 15 with a group named THOB-MOB. After graduating from Edison High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1989, Dangerous Rob went to Langston University in Oklahoma. There he performed in talent shows and rap contests. In 1990 he put his educational goals aside and released his second record. Combined with Partners-N-Rhyme a local rap group, the record was distributed nationwide. It sold more than 10,000 copies of the single "Cold Chillin in the Middle". This popularity allowed him to perform with many big named artists. In 1995 Dangerous Rob released Bakkk From the Middle which sold over 6,000 copies and still sells
today. "It's a T-Town thing" is a cut that best represents the positive direction that his 'middlism' style is taking him. Rob manages his own label BAAM and still produces
different acts in the city of Tulsa. PERFORMED IN SHOWS WITH: Club Nouveau, Melle Mel, LL Cool J, Doug E. Fresh, Ready for the World, Ice T, E.P.M.D., NWA, Dr. Dre, Too Short, Tone' Toni Tony, Flesh-n-Bone, and Chubb Rock |
