Artist description Congratulations, you have a whole lot of patience! Good trait! You really wanted to get here to wait that long for the page to load, thank you. This site loads very slowly because of the number of songs, the graphics are actually really thin and load fast. This page is kind of a repository for me. The site mp3.com/charliesolak contains few but much easier to get to songs. If you can get to mp3.com/solak, stay a while and at least read some of the descriptions. I always write way into the future. I find myself not writing verse, chorus, hook anymore, but storylines, avante garde. I explore all facets of life, good and evil, truth and lie, but no grey area because there is none for me. Kind of a songwriters mapping of people to let all know others share in the pain and anguish of mental and physical everyday living, in addition to mental or physical problems which can't be cured. I deal with all issues, personal, placing myself in other people's situations, to worldly situations. Sometimes it just ain't pretty but then again, life might not be that pretty for a lot of people. Don't be scared of some of the song titles and descriptions, or you'll be scared of life...no way to live, plus you'll get the wrong idea of the person who wrote the song and the song itself. We all know life is a growing process and you just can't cancel out the bad parts. So... There is a combination of full band (recording quality varies widely) and piano/voice/harmony songs. Newer songs, i.e. 1999 & 2000, started sounding better because i was able to decide on complete digital to digital from start to finish, including mp3 songs. Most have been written on the fly as the inspiration comes. So this is about as honest as it gets for me. There's a lot of new stuff, old stuff, band stuff. Currently adding songs daily. If this page is busy, search for Solak on Napster or Scour, and search CharlieSolak on Aimster from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm est. You might have to hit the right server, try reconnecting, then you'll get my whole catalog that is presently up. The catalog up is presently at about 725 mp3 files. There are 500 older songs in the cellar and appoximately 10,000 piano midi instrumental, movie, tv, commercial wallpaper music. Important, for everybody, I own all copyrights, all mechanicals, all publishing, all master tapes and masters, all hard disc stuff, all storage mediums, all midi files, all pre and post production, all photographic and name merchandising, just a suggestion, please do the same. Despite signing with three major labels and a publishing company, Frank Zappa's Third Story Music, I never gave them away. A fluke,... perhaps. You have to own and be in control of these in the completely digital world that's coming. Looking forward to a legendary relationship with Sony Music.
