Artist History
Singer / songwriter / guitarist Alan Bennett has spent the better part of the last decade and a half on stage, delighting and inspiring audiences from around the world with his widely versatile and intelligent songs and animated live performances. Alan's unique style combines hard-edged angst with lyrically-intimate organic soul. Whether alone or accompanied by his well-versed cohorts, his enthusiastic live performances, filled with energy, humor and seasoned musicianship, leave audiences galvanized and inspired. Bennett has been featured on radio and television programs, headlined major events and released two records on his own independent label. Currently based in New York City, his band can be found headlining at local venues such as The Bitter End, The Wetlands Preserve, Mercury Lounge and CBGB's Gallery, opening for other, well-known acts and working on a follow up to Alan Bennett Band's critically-acclaimed debut CD "Ordinary Miracle" (RTR). |
