Artist History
The members of ADGG first met in the summer of '98, through a mutual friend and, by the fall of the same year, they were in their home studio recording their first CD, featuring the single "Come Fly With Me" (never released). After a short brake, they've decided to record a new CD and, this one, they pledged - it would be marketed. Just then they learned of MP3.com. After three months of studio work, "Joyous Pain" was finished, a tighter, more accomplished version of what ADGG stands for: a mix of the music which have inspired Adam and Jamol throughout their lives. |

Press Reviews
Creative Loafing
ADGG -- Local quartet ADGG (A Damn Good Group) combine Southern hip-hop and Euro synth pop in a way that's surprisingly accessible if not always compelling. Tonight, they celebrate the release of their debut CD, Joyous Pain, a solid first effort. The Library (Sarig) |
