Artist History
Logan/Robertson is a collaboration between singer/songwriter Oni Logan (ex-Lynch Mob, Head-Set) and guitarist/songwriter Rowan Robertson (ex-Dio, ex-VAST, AM Radio). Their musical journey began back in the early '90s when they formed a band called Violet's Demise. In addition to Oni and Rowan, Violet's Demise also consisted of Spencer Campbell (Eagle-Eye Cherry) on bass and Scot Coogan (Brides Of Destruction) on drums. Violet's Demise recorded an album with producer Dave Jerden (Alice In Chains, Jane's Addiction), but the record was never released. The album surfaced a few years later as a bootleg CD. This bootleg of the original Violet's Demise album became one of the most widely circulated and most sought after bootleg CDs in the history of rock 'n roll. The album is now finally available as Revisited. Revisited is a remastered version of the Violet's Demise album, plus 3 extra tracks ("Flame", "Waiting On You", and "Shala Land"). Logan/Robertson recently released a 3-song EP called I, which is a continuation of the powerful and inspiring musical vision shared by Oni and Rowan...a vision that knows no boundaries. |
