Artist History It is difficult to imagine that Wayne Tolbert has a degree in ceramic engineering and a masters degree of business administration. It almost seems to be in direct opposition to the talent of writing, arranging, producing, playing, and singing exquisite contemporary gospel songs. Born and raised in South Carolina, Wayne did not get involved in writing music until well after college. He became involved in church choirs, praise & worship teams, and directing & leading the music department.
