Artist History I come from a family of musicians. Both parents were professional singers. Music was always a big part of my life growing up. I started playing piano at five years old, and progressed to the guitar at nine. I've been singing for as long as I can remember. I started writing songs at around thirteen years old. My influences were and are Billy Joel, Garth Brooks, and Cat Stevens, but my love of singing and my appreciation of music comes from my parents. "I'm a little bit country, a little bit Rock 'n' Roll" as the saying goes.
