Artist description
Influenced by such greats as Robert Fripp, David Torn, Alex Lifeson, Allan Holdsworth and Scott Henderson, Simeon combines rich soundscapes with a keen groove sensibility to make music that is both powerful and evocative at the same time. Eschewing synths in favour of creatively processed guitar textures and loops, Simeon is striving to set a new benchmark for what is capable from the electric guitar. |

Artist History
Simeon began playing guitar at the age of fifteen on his dad’s old Hagstrom 12-string acoustic. Soon after that he acquired a cheap electric and formed a band with some of his school friends. The repertoire was small and the songs were played badly, but Simeon had started on a path that would lead him through progressive rock, jazz, fusion, funk and texturalism, eventually to arrive at a place some twenty years later that incorporates all of those elements and fuses them together into something unique. |
