Artist description
Ryan 'TheMystic' Lord began tracking back in 1993 with his Sound Blaster Pro using an application called ScreamTracker 3. Initially he was turned off by tracking due to the not so friendly interface and lack of samples but he gave it another shot shortly after the release of Impulse Tracker. Never releasing any of his songs, he spent years waiting for the opportunity to create music once again so that he could share his creations with the world.
Having always been into synth music from his childhood in the 80s to his teens in the 90s, Ryan always aspired to compose intelligent and mood influencing music through technology. He grew up with a piano near by his entire life and even spent four years playing the Saxophone in grade school until the end of junior high. When he finally got his hands on tracking programs and MIDI capable keyboards, he finally entered the world of electronic composition.
Ryan Lord now uses Propellerhead's Reason 2.5 along with his handy Roland PC-300 MIDI Controller / Keyboard to compose, mix and produce all of his music. There is not a single sound in his songs that he did not personally play. In an age where music can be made for you through advanced software and soft synths, Ryan hopes that this edge will help him stick out among the electronic crowd.
Ryan is currently putting out his first batch of songs. Many of the songs published may go through revisions, most songs prior to being uploaded have actually been re-visited six or more times.
Bear with him while he builds upon his skill as a musician. If you wish to provide feedback on his material, feel free to send it to themystic@invisibledream.com.
Ryan's other projects include his website InvisibleDream.com which he designed completely and managed for over a year as a PC and Console gaming news / content site. He also worked at GameSpy Industries, VoodooExtreme.com and the Dr.TwisTer Network.
Aside from his projects, Ryan works in the IT field as a Support Specialist and Network Engineer. |

Artist History
I grew up with a piano and had access to one throughout my life. I also took up playing the saxophone for four years.
In my early teen years, I began "tracking" using programs like Scream Tracker 3 and Fast Tracker 2. I composed 9-10 tracks which to this day remain unreleased.
In October of 2002, I began working with Reason 2.0. While Reason 2.0 did not offer some of the unique features that the trackers of old did, the limitless ability to compose high quality songs impressed me more than anything.
In January of 2003, I officially began working on my 26th track.
In September of 2003, I began working on track #42. I've made a lot of progress towards acheiving a more professional sound and I've developed a further understanding of how to tweak instruments to acheive a specific sound that I want. I am now working on putting a solid list of songs together for a demo CD in the hopes that I may be able to get signed one day to release ambient / new age tracks.
