Artist description
RENDtheHEAVENS is a group that wants one thing -- to see God. This endless longing that they spend their lives on comes out strongly in their music, in a way that makes you want to join with them in their quest. Listening to any one of their three albums makes the things of earth seem strangely dim, and the face of Christ appear more and more near. Such intensity is a desire among Christian churches in the United States and around the world, and one can only see a bright future for this up and coming group. |

Artist History
RENDtheHEAVENS formed in spring 1999, where they built a healthy following in their home state at the time, Montana. Touring around the United States while on staff with Youth With A Mission, the vision of RENDtheHEAVENS grew wider, and continues to grow to this day. The band consists of Aaron Sternke (guitars/vocals/drums/keys) Chris Campbell (lead guitars) and Dwight Lindley (bass guitar). These three, along with Aaron's wife Jilian, recorded the first album, "rend the heavens" in the spring of 1999. Since that time, they have seen some lineup changes -- Dustin Secrest and Russ Mottram were both drummers for the band, Shane Lunsford played bass, and Aussie Bridget Kempers played keys. Aaron since moved to Florida, where he is attending the recording arts program at FULLSAIL REAL WORLD EDUCATION. The lineup in the future is uncertain, but founding members Aaron, Chris, and Dwight, as well as drummer Russ are in the process of discussing the future plans of RENDtheHEAVENS. |
