Artist History
This Chico, CA quartet started out from a vision Nick and Austin shared during an annual Christmas break jam session. Weary of being in bands one element away from success, they decided to start from scratch with a chemistry that had been proven year after year. The next step was to collaborate in Chico after Nick was finished with college and Austin returned from an extended adventure in Antarctica. Having played together in their first band, Flipside, Austin called upon Chavez for his vocal talent and style to fill the role of front man. One more missing piece to the puzzle was found when Randy was introduced to the band through a friend. Randy's bass style was a perfect match for the beliefs and sound that would become Red With Envy.
