Artist History The Final Conversation is a young, agressive & energetic indie rock band hailing from Johnstown Pennsylvania. The powerful trio consists of it's original members, Bill Barkley (Guitar/Vocals), Terry Plows (Bass) and Chuck Rager (Drums). It's hard to believe this group formed only one year ago in the summer of 2002. In only one year's time... This three peice indie rock trio has made their mark countless times. In may they won the Got Milk? Battle Of The Bands. The month of May also marked the start of their first East Coast National Tour, playing in over 12 states! The group released their first 5 song ep "Time To Stay" in March of 2003. Recorded at Data Music in Altoona, PA (produced by Dave Villiani). The highly anticipated ep was rushed because the ride to the studio almost took their lives. However, the worst day of winter didn't stop TFC from making it to the studio... Although they had orginally planned to have 10 hours of recording time, they did the ep in only 5 hours time. The "Time To Stay" ep was released on March 5th. Shocking everyone. Mainly the band members themselves... The ep sold over 1,000 copies in less than 3 months time. The band considered the ep a "ruff demo" but the fans/reviewers considered it a masterpeice and only the start of good things to come. The hit single "Remember The Skylines" has over 1,000 plays on MP3.com. (Not including downloads! Over 1,000 streamed plays) The single also held the #1 spot on the MP3.com indie charts! The Final Conversation has also been accepted on Punkhardcore.com's new compiltion cd which will be released in the late summer, early fall of 2003! The emotion filled trio has been featured on radio stations across the u.s, including Juniata College radio show performing an incredible version of "Jealousy" live. Many people have commented on Bill's amazing voice saying it's clear, cutting edge and unique. So, you know them as The Final Conversation, but whatever their name is, it will forever scream of talent, sweat of determination. Spirit is something that your born with and passion is the drive to make something of it. This group certainly has that. Their shows are full of positive energy, their messages are messages the audience can relate to. Music is words and feelings...It's experiences, sweat and determination. It's about living for yourself and following your dreams. It's to let kids know when you get your heart broken, you don't have to kill yourself.
