Philomene Hoffman
Philomene Hoffman is a guitarist, singer/songwriter - performer,
whose dynamic voice and guitar explore important personal and
social content through passionate, entertaining expression.
Her refreshing, original compositions focus on songs and stories
that address issues about self reflection, abuse and the environment.
Her music has been described as folk rock with classical influences, blended
with a fiery Celtic edge of eclectic violin, flute and percussion.

Artist History
She received a FACTOR "new talent demo award" in 1997.
She expands her artistic, professional career by working
with children as a music educator.
Philomene has performed in the Parkdale, Artbeat and
Cabbagetown festivals in Toronto from 1997 to present.
She performs at various live venues around the Toronto
area such as "Hugh's Room", the "Big Bop", "The Oasis",
"Free Times Cafe" and in Flesherton, Ontario at "Aggie's Cafe".
She has been spotlighted at "Canadian Music Festival Week 2001" as a unique and talented performing artist.
She continues to host open stages at "Hart House" (University of Toronto)
and celebrated the release of her first
independent CD ("let her go") in June 2002.
