Artist History
MAGNUSON began Jan. 2002 Mark joined Greg for an acoustic a performance at Twiggs. After booking a show at The Joint in L.A., several friends volunteered to play the show with us. From that moment, a sound started to be formed. This sound was only fully realized with the addition of Steve and Carl. Collectively, they have become one of the best live acts in Southern California.

Press Reviews
"...At 7:30, Magnuson stepped onstage. The four guys from San Diego proceeded to play songs evoking feelings ranging from triumphant to depressing. Their lyrics don't reflect the typical emo style orf "boy-distraught-over-girl," but deal with the question of "Why are we here?"
