Artist description
Jimmy O'neill is not your run of the mill, average singer/songwriter. Born and raised in Wigan ,the archetypal northern town.
This self proclaimed "Chancer, poet and philosopher" who's diverse musical influences range from the dulcet tones of johnny mathis to the brutality and sneer of the sex pistols, describes his musical style as "Dysfunctional easy listening". His song writing encapsulates all his thoughts and feelings on life as viewed through stray, yet knowing spectacles. He blends pathos with tongue in cheek humour, in the most english self-deprecting way as only he can. |

He has been writing, recording and developing his musical style for the past eight years, working with producer and artist in his own right, Al Starkie.
