Hilarious punk band from RI that grew at rapid pace among URI students. The bands Live shows are even better then their energy fueled album, "Rock Out With Your Cock Out". The band has only really been playing shows for one year yet they have a very mature sound. Artist History
As the originator of the band, Dave DiSarro first began the project one year prior to the band getting together in RI. He lived in CT where he recorded the first album Take The Chance with his old drummer (from a band named Static) and friend Will Taylor of STS Records. Soon after the album was made Dave moved up to RI where he met band mate Jason Gordon while working at a local pizza restaurant. They started to jam out together at Dave's house just playing covers for fun when they began to start playing the songs from Dave's album. The music was starting to come together and they soon realized that they needed one last piece to complete the band. Dave knew a friend down in NJ (Drew) who played bass and invited him up to live with him over the summer. The last piece of the puzzle was now complete and the band was on their way. Soon thereafter the band gained popularity at a fast pace, ready to rock any place. As of now the band can be seen playing at places like The Ocean Mist, Finbacks, The Living Room, and the occasional free show on the campus of URI. The band has now hit the studio all together to record and release their power packed follow up, "Rock Out With Your Cock Out" (march 03) with songs ranging from punk, to hard core, to slower alternative sounding songs, to even a couple rap songs. After the plans for the Warped Tour this summer fell through, the band was contacted to go on another tour starting in CA this summer. The boys have decided to book their own shows around their fans emails requesting them to come to their towns. They take pride in their fan base and do everything they can to keep their loyal “Risk Takers” happy. Which is why after only a few short months the band is hitting the studio to record their follow up album already. The band is slowly finding its way to radio play and spreading in popularity with such things at their shows as wet T shirt contests to bassist Drew Felter dropping his pants every time he sings. The show has become a must see and has been said to be one of the best shows to see in RI. This is definitely a band to check out if you get the chance. |

High Risk "Rock Out With Your Cock Out" - 8/03
BALLBUSTER (Paul Autry)
Punk rock, that's what we have here. A 17 song album with an hour plus
running time. At times, I thought the production could've been touched up a
bit. But, other than that, this was a really good album. When I think of
punk rock, I think of bands like The Ramones, Dead Kennedys, The Exploited
or The Sex Pistols. While this band has a way to go before they reach that
level, I think they're on the right track. Any label who would pick 'em up
would have a winner on their hands, that's for sure. Throw some serious
promotion behind 'em and they could do some damage in the music world.
Hell, look at this disc. There's some great material to be found. Ah, the
best of the bunch, in my opinion, are tracks like "Punk Rock Anthem,"
"Cheers" and "Rage" just to name a few. Can't really go wrong here. Yeah,
so, be sure to check 'em out.

"Rachael" - Nice intro. with the drums going off. Definitely punk rock....very punk, you guys have done this nicely.
"You Changed" - The bass is sounding good here....keeping with the drums nicely. Jaci has a nicely blended punk/grunge voice, good call on having her jump in here.
I can't believe I am saying this, but I like your music. Melodies are great and beats. Vocally, Jaci has it well, but don't over-use her voice within all your music, make sure that you pop her into other tunes a little more.
