Artist History formed in fall of 2002 after numerous failed band attempts by Will and Chris. Chess Club was started by Chris Black (guitar, vox) and Sean McCaffrey (drums) and was quick to recruit Will Klein(vox and guitar/bass). Chess Club has since then written songs, played many shows (1 show Will was not present) and is going to release an EP, The Loft, on Real Loud Records.
