Artist description credit to anti-socials.com: T.A.S (the anti-socials) started out as a three peice band of Drew, Will and Grant. The Three always jammed and messed around together, not making any real solid songs for close to 5 or 6 months. They just started to write lyrics to riffs and arrange some songs, "Stuck In Society" being their first, when they took Marty on board to play rythm guitar and help out with vocals. By now they only had two real songs, but quickly started righting a lot more material. When the summer after their 8th grade year came around they practiced on average 3 or 4 times a week and were improving quickly. T.A.S started out practicing in the Grant's basement, but sooned moved to Will's garage where they really got going. Their good friend Dave watched their every rehearsal and sort of grew with the band. In that summer after 8th grade they got offered to play a big party by a construction worker who was working on the house nextdoor to Will's who had overheard them practicing. That was sort of a mark in the bands existence because they started working really hard on pollishing songs to play in public and making more new material then ever. Even though the band ended up not playing the party, they played their first show in their garage on the day the party was going to be, and got the Suspicious Individuals (now H.E.L.P) to open for them. Further down the road they played another house show, then their first show at a venue at the Rock with H.E.L.P. It went ok and they were finally starting to get recognized. After being together a little over a year total, T.A.S is now playing shows about twice a month, getting paid, jumping in the crowd, triggering mosh pits at their shows, and have made their first cd. With music ranging from hard core punk to emo, to screamo, and jsut plain punk sounding songs, T.A.S is finally on their way...
