Artist History
Shiver was started by the guitarplayers Magnus
and Mikael. They met in Västerås where they
studied. At this time, Magnus was a beginner on
the guitar and he thought that Mikael was a king
playing Enter Sandman! Nowadays Magnus knows
better :)
Two years later Magnus and Mikael moved
to Uppsala to study. There at last they got their
first rehersal studio, though there was a trouble.
They were only two! So they bought some fantastic
Trax drums and started to play undercover as
Circus Satan. This was fun at start, but sooner a
bit boring.
Magnus and Mikael brought some friends
to play with them including Apan, the French guys
and some members from The Straydogs, but none of
them fit in. But then Magnus invited his corridor
pal Roberth, alias Lobster, to try the bassguitar.
This was a success and a drummer was the only
missing link.
Mikael sat in class an played finger drums and a
guy named Niclas caught up with him. Mikael started
to talk, and the mission was complete. We got
ourselves a drummer.
This fourpiece band jammed for a while, but then
Magnus felt that both singing and playing guitar
was a tough job so the band announced for a lead
singer. Then one day Magnus got a sms: "Where do
you rehersal? Singer!" Magnus got a bit confused
but sent a sms back and soon there was a call from
Gunnar. He showed up at the next rehersal and
screamed some 4-stroke e:s, and the metal band
Shiver was complete! |
