Artist History Ni4Ni started in the begining of 2002 and has always been a trio. All members have been involved in music from an early age. This is a serious project that is always progressing and evolving in at a positive level. Ni4Ni is currently located on the Southern Oregon Coastline, in Brookings.

Press Reviews From a very unexpected place, comes a very unexpected band. Brookings Oregon is a wide spot in the road that hugs the coastline just before you enter California. Yet surprisingly heavy bands have emerged from this area in the last few years. Ni4Ni evolved from another trio that bashed onto the scene in 2001 with a couple of local shows, and enough local interest to allow for momentum that would eventually attract Guitarist Dan Alto into the mix. Once an underground rehearsal hall was arranged, a very regular regimen of rehearsals began. Bassist Ethan Hopper worked with Alto to re-establish the rhythm section of the band, which has been faithfully executed by Jaymz Bryant ever since. Jaymz has also added guitar from behind his electronic command center. 2003 has seen an escalation of sound and light gear as the group gears up for more shows to support their 2003 release "Sessions". The 13-track all original release is a strong debut for the band, and has been well received on mp3.com, topping the metal genres several times. The material on the CD shows a wide variety, yet remains powerful throughout. Alto can range vocally from sadistic to smooth, all the while putting down some pretty impressive speed passages on his guitar. Hopper chimes in vocally supporting Alto with some solid harmonies while sending deeper than deep depth charges through the floor. Watching Ni4Ni you are tempted to look for the drum set...it's in a box, man! They just don't need to rely on someone to bash it out, 'cause it's all been programmed in advance. But the sound is every bit as good. If you don't believe me, stand in front of the new JBL 15" stacks and try to keep your heart beat steady.
