Artist description "Coincidence Street Project": A rather complicated story based on a novel I once wrote. Here’s a short description: You (at first the story is in the 'You perspective - and later turns into an "I-perspective due to a certain the feeling 'your’ having making you feel that you are just something watching your body/your actions. You have a short memory loss at the beginning and when you find out who you really are the story turn to an "I-Persp.") Anyway.. you wake up in front of an house and can't remember anything. Is this your house? Where do you live? You don’t even know who you are. You find your house keys and just enter the front door. You can't remember your name, but you know small fragments from your childhood(fears, different expieriences etc..) During the course of being in this house, you start to hear ‘voices’ and you start to panic more and more. Next scene - you suddenly wake up in some sort of subway. you figure, that the thing with the house had to be a dream (Dreams play an extremely important role in this story) Now to make the entire story short - on the ‘subway’ you meet two people - one being a huge black guy (Michael), who later on becomes your best friend, the other a nervous wrack of a man(Peter). Michael explains you everything that you need to know: You are just on your way to "Coincidence Street". Normally you would be heading to Hell(this place really does excist in this tale), but out of some srange coincidence(hence the name) this form of street has developed just before the entrance to hell and everyone who would have been sentenced to hell winds up in this place. You later find out that Michael is a handyman for the dark arts/voodoo and has been in this place before with a friend of his and managed to ecsape through dark magic. He came back to coincidence street to save his friend. Just another 'coincidence' that you happen to meet the only person able to escape this place, who has lived there for months. The street itself is filled with all sorts of horrors you can't imagine. You still can't remember why you would be sentenced to hell neither anything else from your past (except small things from your childhood) During the course you start to have dreams all the time. The dreams tell you small fragments of your past - including your sin(s)/why you are in hell The story is packed with a lot of psychology mixed with fears/horror/drama ect.. I've tried now to take the basic idea (it would probably be too hard to use it all) and mix it into an entire Horrorcore Album. (Each song telling a different part from the book and leading to the next song) My idea would be to take diffrent (horrorcore) artists to represent diffrent characters from the story(there will be more than just 3) and ‘act’ the story out (perhaps like in Deltron 3030)..
