Artist History
disgrade's first line-up found together in may 1998, appearing at the local music scene with
their first gigs soon after.
Their concept was hard guitars and a melodious, melancholic voice, supported by classical
instruments like violin & cello for the calm songs. The early success on stage was followed
by first studio-recordings & contests.
After breaking up with their lead singer in october 2000, disgrade debuted with new line-up
and songs at the "Matrix" in Bochum. Although things were going well, they kept on trying
new musicians with whom they could develop and work on their own style.
Since end of 2001 they've consolidated their musical style and ambitions, recorded a new
four-track demo, increased their gigs and still - they aren't tired enough to stop from recor-
ding some new songs in the next few weeks and renewing the set-list by adding new stuff! |
