Artist History Daniel Nevels is our exciting new artist. He is on the cutting edge of an evolving sound in synthesized keyboard music. His music arrests the imagination and takes the listener on an adventure into the emotion of their soul. Danny Nevels lives in Tampa, Florida with his wife Laura. He is a computer engineer by trade, who has combined his musical talent with modern technology to create a series of synthesized melodies. Danny hears a song in his spirit and plays it on the piano, then converts to the relaxing expressions contained on his latest CD. When Danny was 40, he prayed and asked God to help him learn to play piano, so he could play the music he heard in his spirit. He bought a keyboard and everyday diligently learned to play the piano. Little by little he gradually learned to play and started to record the songs he heard. He later built a recording studio in one of the spare bedrooms in his house. The studio enabled him to record all of the songs he was hearing in his spirit. A sudden layoff from his 20+ year career gave Danny the opportunity to pursue his dreams. Danny enrolled in college, and will receive his bachelors degree in music in the fall of 2003. During that time this CD was produced. Danny started to explore the different sounds made by a synthesizer. He learned by reprogramming the voices in a synthesizer, he could create a sonic landscape of tranquility. The final result of that work is what you hear on the CD.
