After several years of nomad ship through PA and NY struggling to eat and stay away from jail. While continuing to hone "the art" with his crews One Mood and Score Beyond, respectively. In 1996 3rd Son ventured alone to Atlanta, which had the reputation of being the place to be; and the hot new breeding ground of Hip-hop. In Atl's underground scene, 3rd built with some of the most hungry and talented free stylists and lyricists, which will grace the industry. Such as Nyce (formerly of Cult of Icon, Broady Champs), C.O.I crew (respect), Mark Spekt (Broady Champs, Subverse Records), Dave Knox (Thoroughbred Ent). Known as the "Un-Rapper", 3rd Son's verbal tenacity shined in various events throughout the east coast and southeast including Lyricists Lounge, The Source Battle, Ying Yang Cafe, Atlanta Hip-hop showcase, The Royal Peacock, and The Uptown Comedy Club. 3rd was also prominently featured on DJ Scoob's "Still Blazing 2001” mix tape, alongside veterans and icons LL Cool J, Mobb Deep, and Mystikal. In 2000 3rd Son founded Hijo Productions, a multi-genre production company which he uses to, as he says "elevate not stagnate" the endless boundaries music. With this outlet 3rd has been able to continue composing, writing screen plays, as well as acting in upcoming features Drumline and Twisted. New music is here, 3rd Son is delivering. Hard-hitting, all original Hip hop pulsations. The time has come, second to none, 3rd Son!
