Artist description
The O.A.O.T's catchy melodies, abrasively loud
guitars and fast tempos resemble a mix of
Superdrag and the Pixies. Other
influences include Husker Du, Guided By Voices
and the Velvet Underground.
The O.A.O.T's are known for incredlibly high
energy as well as extremely high volume shows and
can dish you out 17 songs in 35 minutes anytime,
anywhere. They headlined the famous Whisky a Go-Go
in January and will play the Los Angeles'
Troubador in April. They are also planning for a
west coast tour this summer.
Their first EP is due out mid February. They have
been regular's at L.A.'s popular Mr. T's Bowl and
Eagle Rock's Topper's Tavern.

Artist History
The O.A.O.T's (pronounced oh ay oh tees) is the
songwriting of Matt Garappolo and Eddie Garcia
who met and began playing guitar together in the
fall of 2000. After several attempts at starting
a rock band, they met the amazing Tommy Gun Meier
in the spring of 2002. The power pop punk trio
began playing as the O.A.O.T's on Septermber 2nd,
2002. |
