Artist History
Johnny and Zaz were layin' down the rock grooves for a little while and
ran across "Big AL" who's straightforward drum style inspired even more
unique guitar rock, pop rock, and sometimes even indie rock sounds. When
Dan joined the band and added his funky and rhythmic bass lines things
really came together and the Cherry CD was compiled. There were so many
great songs it was hard to choose which ones to record. |

Press Reviews
Hello Deception Band
Thank you for sending along your demo CD for me to listen to.
Unfortunately, I've made it a policy to review only CD's already
released
for commercial sale. This is a time consideration. If you check the
"coming next" link at Sound Bytes, you'll see what a huge backlog I
already
have of releases waiting for review.
I did listen to your songs and think you definitely have potential. I
actually like the sound a lot. Were I to compare, I'd say I especially
hear
elements of Carole Pope and Grace Slick -- an interesting blend for
sure,
and great rock and roll.
Best wishes for future endeavours. I look forward to hearing your
first
commercial release.
Peace and Love.
