Artist History
The beginnings of this trio date back to early 1995 when (bassist) Nick Lynd and (Guitarist/Vocalist) Anthony Pellerin befriended each other after a high school altercation. They immediately began playing together as beginners and joined the Skips Music “Stairway To Stardom” program in 1996. Paired with drummer John Jensen Jr. they completed the program performing a blend of Death/Speed metal reminiscent of early Metallica. After parting ways and splitting all over California each member found himself in a number of musical situation cover and original crossing many styles expanding their musical horizons and building professionalism. After many frustrations in finding the perfect project. Mainly to do with the inability of finding other musicians that fit what they wanted Anthony Pellerin and John Jensen Jr. agreed to quit their current projects and form Chasing Sirens July 6, 2002. They immediately began working on new material and brought bassist Nick Lynd into the line up December, 2002 before recording the first demo with Alan Yerxa January 2003. Happy with the vision and harnessing the drive to perfect and innovate that vision Chasing Sirens begins its journey to infect the world with their blend of melodic pop punk rock, stories, and philosophies. |
