Artist History Based in San Francisco, WENCH is an electronic music duo and art project created by members, Frances Byrne; musician and midi composer, vocalist ,performer, producer, and Katreece Montgomery; designer, visual artist / illustrator and electronic percussionist for live shows.Razor Byrne Productions has currently released the eagerly anticipated self-titled debut CD by WENCH, rich in ambient- industrial textures and tribal percussion with a mystical infusion of Middle Eastern inspired vocals, buried echos and distant chants from another time, featuring songs such as Wasteland, Tantra, Chant, Voodoo and Salome's Dream. CD is available in some record stores and by mail .WENCH occasionally performs live around the Bay Area, including past shows at Trocadero, Maritime Hall and Transmission Theater in San Francisco, The next live show will be on October 1st at the Fillmore in San Francisco with The Damned.
