Artist History The band was founded by Dave Hargreaves in the early 90s, with Stuart Weatherman and Dean Gaudoin joining soon after.After struggling through many line up changes (and a couple of break-ups), the line up was finally completed when drummer Damien Evans joined in 1998.Soon afterwards Titanium went into St Andrews studios with producer "Evil" Ernie to record their first CD, entitled "Lost Soul".The CD was a big success for the band, but unfortunately the line up did not last, with Damien and Stuart leaving the band soon after.By 1999, Dave and Dean had been joined by Sean Vournazos on keyboards, and some time later drummer Mark McLeod (who had actually played in the earliest incarnations of the band) rejoined the group.This incredibly strong line up was finally completed when Elissa Coffman joined in mid 1999.By this time the band's sound had been refined significantly, with Dave and Dean making the switch to 7 string guitar and 5 string bass. The band started to evolve into a more classy and progressive style than what had been done on the "Lost Soul" CD.In July 1999 the band went into the Pound Studio to record a new EP. Producer Martin Stott really helped the band to reach new heights, and the new "Oceans" CD was again a huge success, with the band getting lots of positive feedback from everyone who heard the new music.
