Artist History
Spare Lead formed in early 1997. The three members met when they were in high school and decided to put a band together. They soon began playing small shows at their high school. After a year of being "a band", they recorded thier first CD entitled "Grunge Revolution" at a small local studio. Within a short year, they were playing shows all over the state of Oregon and decided to record again. This time they recorded a short EP themselves entitled "Your Mom Likes Us Too!" It is currently for sale here at Mp3.com. Spare Lead has been said to be the "up and coming punk band of Portland" by MaskedMedia |

Press Reviews
"This punk-pop band from Portland, Oregon plays like a demo tape from Screeching Weasel. A fast, loud playing style and bratty vocals give it the seal of authenticity." - listen.com |
