"Hers are the kind of talent and looks with obvious pop-diva potential." -Indie-Music.com. Rip-roaring soul through your body, Shari is a vocalist of unmatched ability. Her presence and gift are a rarity. Not an angry-at-the-world artist, or a fragile melancholy butterfly, she is without pretense; a finely tuned machine, direct and fired up. She hits the stage with the force of a hurricane. Once in a blue moon, there comes a gem, whose luster is so reminiscent of pearls of the past, that it gives great hope for a brilliant future. |

Artist History
Raised on music, Shari has been exposed to everything from Mozart and Leontyne Price to Wes Montgomery and Aretha Franklin. Shari continues intensive vocal training. She has sung at Carnegie Hall (along side Elton John) in a benefit for La Fenice Theater, she earned the leading role in the off Broadway gospel, Love. When she made her national television debut at The Apollo Theater: NBC-4, host Steve Harvey proclaimed her as a major new talent whose career should be closely watched, and the toughest audience in NYC marveled at her performance. "She does indeed have the kind of pipes that show up in history-making pieces." -Barney Quick (Indie-Music.com) |

Press Reviews
INDIE-MUSIC.COM - I see positive but surprising turns coming in the evolution of Shari Pine. This New York-based singer is currently promoting her CD of original compositions. My sense is that her real calling card, a strong, controlled voice with lots of range, is going to attract the attention of other kinds of talents with the ideas needed to take her career to the next level. Renowned drummer Jonathan Mover (Joe Satriani, Aretha Franklin) produced the album. It has a nice, clean, balanced sound that gives Pine every opportunity to show what she's got. A look at her bio shows a wide range of musical activities to date. Hers are the kind of talent and looks with obvious pop-diva potential, and that type of performer usually meets a sound-shaper who has his or her own distinct ideas about material and arrangements. One hopes Shari Pine finds such a music-biz figure soon, so she finds her niche and hits her stride. She does indeed have the kind of pipes that show up in history-making pieces." -Barney Quick |
