Artist description Ruby Zoo is a modern rock band based in the Philly/Baltimore area. With a catchy blend of thick distortion, crisp harmonies, and sharp intelligent lyrics, Ruby Zoo stands apart from the rest of the local bands. Ruby Zoo is comprised of four tight-knit guys from the Baltimore area, who have been playing together for seven years, and have been friends for much longer. Ruby Zoo's passion is unmatched, and adds spice to the live show where most bands fall behind. Their set, a blend of various musical styles, has no two songs sound alike.

Artist History Ruby Zoo was formed in high school, by four musicians sharing the same vision. In time the band members all attended the same college, where their musical prowess expanded. They reorganized in 1997, and became known as Ruby Zoo. They are currently very active, performing gigs in the Philly/Baltimore area, and have just cut their first CD, DISENCHANTED MONK.
