Artist History
Pot Pie have played nearly every dive bar and/or Hell hole in Seattle. They all have college degrees. They once had a lunch appointment with David Geffen, but couldn't figure out what to order. They are an anomaly: three guys from Seattle who play music and call themselves a "band" - - who knew? |

Press Reviews
"The heavy-on-the-distortion-pedal exploits of POT PIE grabbed my attention with their novel marketing strategy: The cassette was delivered enclosed within a Swanson's POT-PIE box - - only problem was the cassette case was kind of greasy. But the band shows promise, especially on (the song) 'No Joke'." - The Rocket; "The group's sound has at once a chewy texture of thick guitar and rumbly drum rhythms, yet smoothed out and rambling with a slight jazz sensibility." - The Seattle Times;"I'm attracted to it, but I don't know why. Perhaps the mix of psychedelia and melody, Pot and Pie..." - Pandemonium Magazine |
