Artist description Lounge-Lizard is currently a one-man project. The music we create is called “triangle-music”. “Triangle” is a mix of triphop, ambient music and jungle (drum&bass).

Artist History Lounge-Lizard was founded in 1995. In the beginning the music was merely film-oriented, ambient stuff but gradually we developed into the electronic branche. The Lounge-Lizard music is made in our home-studio in Belgium. An old Atari-computer running Cubase is used as a software-sequencer. The main sound-module consist of a Roland MC-505, hooked on an old Roland digital piano that is mainly used as a master key-board. With the MC-505 we create our instrument-sound, as well as some weird ambient-noises. We also use a Yamaha A-3000 sampler V2 which is really a fantastic instrument for manipulating noises and instrument-sounds and for sampling drum-loops and other weird stuff. Our final tracks are mixed with a Roland VM 3100 digital mixer and mastered on a Marantz 640 CD-RW.
