Artist History I was raised in the soulful yet sometimes mean-streets of south-central Los Angeles and began piano at age 4. Music helped me get through some difficult being at that time, the only Latino in a predominantly African-American neighborhood, but also Bi-racial as well...My father was caucasian of portugese descent, and my mother is black of ethiopian descent. I witnessed murder as early as age 10 and experienced my first crush at age 8. This arranged-marriage of innocence and cruel reality manifested itself creatively and soulfully for me in the form of music. I believe these and many other remarkable life experiences are very much present in my music. I choose to see the good in all things and try to convey this ambition in my lyrics and music.I hope you can share my enjoyment of this music...Isaias
