Artist History
Imagery Flux began when mutual friend James Short
introduced Pat Connolly and Timothy Daniel in 1988
at Beaver College near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Jim Short played guitar with the two for a few
months then turned to film making studies around
the time the Imagery Flux concept was born to
include film as part of the live experience.
Pat and Tim began recording on a four track around
this time.
In 1989 Pat and Tim teamed up with drummer Jon Silk
from another college contact. The three piece
recorded extensively in Jon's studio. Seeking
a bass player proved difficult and the three moved
west to San Francisco along with Jim Short to team
up with singer/bassist Ex The²m. Jim produced videos
which were mixed live, and the four piece group played
many performances and recorded in San Francisco until
May, 1993 when it was agreed that the band should take
a hiatus. All the band members still live in San Francisco
and occasionally get together to play or record.
Currently there are numerous demo tapes and a few CDs
floating around, but you won't find a CD online for some
time (if ever) so please enjoy these mp3 files, some of which
are rarely heard recordings of Imagery Flux throughout their five
year history. More files will be added to this page as time
goes on. |
