The band formed in early 1995 and pracised for nearly 1 full year before making their stage debut. Since then, they have gained a strong fan base and are one of the top metal acts in SA today.Their debut album is selling strongly and plans for a new album are being considered.GUTTED REMAINS are famous for their incredible LIVE shows that keep their fans begging for more.GUTTED REMAINS are slowly spreading their distribution to such places as DENMARK and certain EUROPEAN labels.Original vocalist Pete Busse, decided to go his own way and leave frontman position wide open. After many unsuccessful auditions, a young demon with the name of Johan Mocke blew GUTTED REMAINS away with his powerful and bonecrushing voice.GUTTED REMAINS are busy recording brand new material that will be featured on a SWEDISH compilation released by V.O.D. RECORDS.This comppilation, being volume 5 of the releases, has never featured a non EUROPEAN band before.
