Artist History Four best friends, two brothers, two cousins, formed the band as Oracle Nightmare in 1987. They changed the name a number of times after that before settling on Betrayed. Coming from Cape Cod, Ma. there was not much metal around so this was quite in your face to most. Uh, did I mention each member was barely in High School. They continued to rehearse in the Fitzpatricks garage annoying the hell out of the summer residents, but managing to stay out of trouble. Unfortunately Betryed disbanded in 1992, but remains a legend in Sagamore Beach, Ma. and all four continue to play.
