Artist History
Recently hailed as one of the Top 20 "up and coming" jazz musicians by the Newark Star-Ledger, and also recently featured in the New York Times, B.D. Lenz is a fresh,funky/jazz guitarist from New Jersey. A graduate of G.I.T., B.D has studied with the likes of Mike Stern and Charlie Banacos. He has released two highly acclaimed recordings of his melodic jazz/funk, "Tell the World," (1997) and "Lost and Found" (1999). They have played clubs, festivals, coffeehouses, etc., throughout the Northeast including the Panasonic Village Jazz Festivals (New York), the Westfield Jazz Festivals (NJ) and the EAT'M (Emerging Artist and Talent in Music) Showcase in Las Vegas. |
