Artist History Alyssa found her voice at four years old and was a professional vocalist before hitting her teens. She has performed extensively live, on local and national television and across North America. At age twelve she was already singing for the likes of famed boxer Muhammad Ali. Her extensive list of professional credits also include acting roles in episodes of three television series and a Disney Sunday movie. Her wealth of live experience has given her a "calming and unshakable stage presence." The first single, "Rich Man" off her Nashville recorded debut CD made a meteoric and unprecidented rise to the #18 spot on "The Record Magazine" music chart -(The Canadian equivalent to U.S. Billboard.) This made "Rich Man" the 3rd most popular Canadian country song at that time. The success of this song also garnered her nominations for both B.C. Country Music Association "single of the year" and "Ray McAuley Horizon award" -(most promising artist). She followed this with the successful full length CD release "This Heart" recorded entirely in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. Also a songwriter, Alyssa co-penned one of the songs on the album and served as the CD's Executive Producer. Her inspirational song, "He Loves Me" earned her the opportunity to compete in the Academy of Gospel Music Arts' Song of '98 competition held in Pasedena, California. In the year 2000 Alyssa brought her love for singing and acting together appearing as herself, on the new television series, "Big Sound." This led to the filming of her first music video, for release in 2002.
