    Artist History
Formed in Atlanta Georgia in May 2001, The Booze has been one of Atlanta's prominent Rock N Roll bands. Gracing the Stages of venues such as 9lives Saloon,Lenny's, The Masquerade, and The Earl, The Falls have held their own as one of the most energetic live performancers in years. Not since The Black Crows, has Atlanta had a real Rock n' Roll band. With their album "The Invasion of the Hymen Destroyers," The Falls have taken their English influenced music and turned it into the second comming of THE GLAM AGE. With songs like "Saturday Nite w/t Bowie Kids," and "Underneath Your Tattoo" these guys have proven That true Rock n' Roll will never die. The line up consist of Chaz Tolliver(Vocals), Randy Glaude(Guitar), Alex Ko(Bass), and Micheal Alexander(Drums). Although their not old enough to drink, TheBooze is truely a band to watch out for. Press Reviews
Invasion of the Hymen Destroyers Produced by Randy Glaude Released by Mother Dig My Grave Records Reviewer -Holly Lang Some albums are just fun. They don't necessarily relish in ground-breaking technique, unique styles, or innovative chord progressions but instead simply are music for the sake of having fun while making music. Invasion of the Hymen Destroyers is just that. It's essentially an album that could probably have been recorded anytime in the past 30 or so years, and it could maybe even be that album that both you and your mother agree on for the exasperating road trips that leaves little choice of audio past the oldies stations that drift in and out of the FM frequency. As far as the actual songs themselves, they are simple enough. Progressing as the album wears on, and although I like the lyrics of the track “A Letter to Jane,” the song “Call of the Wild” should probably be the one sent out to radio stations. Track 7, “Hellbent,” is good with the opening guitars, standard rock yell, and 4/4 rhythm. Track 8's even better and in keeping with their trend of quality increasing with the numbers, the ninth track “However” improves upon the others as well. “Beercans and Bottlecaps,” the final track, could maybe be the best as far as production quality goes, timing changes, and fade-outs. There's even a surprise ending. I like it. They list their influences as the New York Dolls, the Flaming Lips, the Stooges, the Ramones, and so on. I can see it. This isn't a bad thing but is what it is. Overall, this album seems to be a collection of a variety of musical ideas and these musical influences. They don't really settle on one style but also don't fully develop the ideas they are introducing. This could be seen as good or bad although the only bands that seem to pull off such chameleon leanings are the likes of Ween (and this band is no Ween). What seems like an attempt at evidencing versatility comes off as a lack of definitive style but hopefully they'll find their place in time for the next album. I'm looking forward to hearing it.
