Artist History
As a child and teenager Sara performed and toured with a number of different choirs and acapella groups and sang and acted in Broadway and regional theater. At home she soaked in the sounds of her parents records, learning to love artists like Carol King, Stevie Wonder, Santana and Roberta Flack. As she reached adulthood, Sara began writing her own tunes and her songwriting world opened to the wonders of artists like Parliament, Sly Stone, and more recently, Outkast and Timberland. She recently took on learning how to arrange and produce her music, sometimes in conjunction with other musicians and producers. For information about her upcoming gigs and her debut CD, due out in the fall of 2003, check out her website at www.saracarbone.com. |
